Should I buy a Chromebook?

If, based on your personal preferences, the pros weigh more than the previously-mentioned cons, I would definitely recommend you to try out a Chromebook and experience it first-hand. For myself as a young student, I must say the Chromebook for me personally is an ideal laptop; it is cheap, easy to carry, extremely fast, and extremely convenient for taking notes (due to its physical keyboard). Furthermore, in modern-day society we already highly rely on the internet & most places nowadays do have free Wi-Fi hotspots, so you will not be without internet most of the time, and even without internet the Chromebook is still usable as a regular laptop.
So, in-short if you are looking for a budget laptop which is able to outperform all other laptops in a similar price range in terms of browsing speed and user-friendliness, then this is definitely a product that will satisfy your requirements. However, if you are looking for a high-end device able to do high-demanding games or advanced media editing I would suggest looking in another product range. Furthermore, if you often use programs that are not for every-day use and only can be run on windows, I would also not recommend to buy a Chromebook.
To find out whether most of your tasks are suitable for being performed on a Chromebook, you can simply open Chrome and see what you can and cannot do with just the Chrome browser, also check out the Chrome store and the available apps to extend the functionality of your Chrome web-browser. You can test this on any PC running any version of Mac or Windows.
